The CSPCA has reported that its wildlife unit has had to deal with incidents this week where birds have suffered horrific injuries and in some cases have been killed.
Staff at the centre say they received reports that individuals with sling shots are targeting birds in the inner city .
The shots inflict severe injury which has so far resulted in the death of all these birds.
A spokesperson for the CSPCA said — “If you see anything suspicious or obvious cruelty to wildlife please report to info@cspca.ie or your local Garda Station
