Gardaí have ruled out foul play after a post-mortem examination on the body of a woman who was found dead at a house in Cork yesterday.

The body of 32-year-old Kelly Cremin was discovered upstairs in her home at Innishmore Park in Ballincollig at around 5.30pm yesterday evening.

Chatting to All About Cork, close friend Sinead Leahy, who volunteers with Friends with Heart, said Kelly was “a wonderful mother who adored her little boy and would often go without so that her son had everything he needed.”

She said Kelly had not had the easiest life but was determined to raise her son in a world where he would be safe from harm and able to enjoy the things she had missed out on”

It is believed her body may have been in the house for up to 24 hours before it was discovered by a neighbour who became concerned for her friend whom she hadn’t seen since the previous day.
