Black Emerald Irish Whiskey
Black Emerald whiskey is ‘made to be shared’ – so what better way to incorporate it into your wedding than in a signature cocktail for the evening, or pride of place on a stand alone whiskey cart for your guests who like to take it straight up or on the rocks. Founded by lifelong publican Ernest Cantillon, international rugby player Simon Zebo, and whiskey industry veteran Finian Sedgwick, this smooth and spirited new drink is available in bars, restaurants, and bottle shops across the country. It was launched earlier this year with a 7-year rum finish and 15-year cognac finish expressions. Bringing people together, this single grain whiskey’s rum finish has notes of milk chocolate and citrus, bringing a fresh and distinctive taste to the whiskey game, while the cognac finish leans towards cherry and burnt caramel, with a long, warming finish.
