Two dogs seized as part of a Garda raid at St Anthony’s Park, Hollyhill, Cork, yesterday morning have been put down.
Teams of Gardaí, including members of the Armed Support Unit, stormed the housing complex and seized a quantity of cocaine and cash.
Five severely neglected dogs were also found at the location. All five were removed, and two were later put to sleep due to their condition.
The search was part of an investigation into the alleged sale and supply of drugs in Cork.
No arrests have been made.
